Spinach Cake
1 ½ pounds spinach, thoroughly washed, leave stems on if they are not tough
3 tablespoons grapeseed oil
1 cup pine nuts
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 eggs, whisked
½ cup currants
1 teaspoon celtic sea salt
- Wilt spinach in a large covered saucepan, over low heat (do not add water) 5 minutes, until tender
Almond milk
Drinking milk can be likened to putting bad gas in your car. It will clog your carburator. Cow's milk produces a lot of congestion in the sinuses, the digestive tract as well as the lymph. Dairy contains hormones, antibiotics and too much inabsorbable calcium.
Almond milk on the other hand is a living whole food, high in protein, good fats and loads of vitamins and minerals.
Aubergine Caviar
Ingredients
· 3 medium aubergines
· 6 tbsp olive oil
· 2 level tbsp parsley, finely chopped
· ¼ tsp ground cumin
· 1 clove garlic
· 150ml natural yoghurt
· Salt and freshly and ground black pepper
