Months After a Life Threatening Accident

Months after a life threatening accident with my 2 young children and a semi-truck, I suffered many symptoms including whiplash, neurological problems, twitching, post-traumatic stress disorder, bladder problems, and constant neck spasms. I was on many prescription medications to help with all of these symptoms.

Reacting to pool water

My son Ethan has been swimming competitively since he was 9 years old. Last year, when he was 12, he started coughing in the water. As time went on, his cough got increasingly worse and he was unable to breathe well. It got to the point where he could only stay in the water for 15 minutes before his breathing is strained and his coughing was horrible. His chest would hurt for the rest of the night. I took him to a paediatric allergist. He was put on every different type of steroid inhaler, as well as singular and other allergy pills. Nothing helped.

Severe ragweed allergy

Every year mid-August meant leaving the area to escape ragweed pollen and severe hay fever. Upon my return in Sept 2005 I found that this time it had not worked. I was suffering as much or more than ever. Two individuals informed me that they had been helped with allergy problems by NAET  treatments.

Severe cat allergy and asthma

Coming to see Sandy was suggested by a friend who knew how allergic I was to cats.  I couldn't even sit next to someone without my ‘allergy detector’ letting me know if they owned a cat. My eyes would water; I’d sneeze and suffer with asthma and that’s just for starters. Imagine if I was actually in a room with them! That was the main reason for seeing Sandy, but I then found out she could help me with other issues as well.

Years of anxiety

I am a person who has struggled through periods of anxiety for most of my life-35 years, in fact. Those of us who deal with anxiety know that the first panic attack strikes seemingly “out of the blue” and only WE know how this single event can change the course of one’s life. I was 17 years old at the time and had no idea what was happening-fear took  its hold on me; from then on anticipating the next attack consumed me.

Congestion, food sensitivities and shoulder pain

For many years I suspected having some sort of food-related allergy but really didn't know where to start in determining the cause of my chronic nasal congestion.  I wasn't crazy about the idea of just taking an anti-histamine or a nasal decongestant and hoping for the best, so I just ended up suffering with it. Fortunately I met Sandy!

Colicky baby

My grandson William was born on July 16, 2008. It didn’t take long for us to realize that he was a colicky baby. He would cry and bring up his little legs; he would squirm and throw up constantly. We brought him to see Sandy, where she treated both mom and baby for different sensitivities.  After each visit, we could notice a difference.

MSG, Perfumes and alcohol

March 12, 2009
When I met Sandy, I felt that overall I was healthy; at least I wasn’t suffering from any major illnesses.   However, there were a few things that I considered “minor inconveniences”, but thought that as I aged this was normal. I had sensitivity to MSG, alcohol and smells. If I ate Chinese food, there was a good chance that I would spend the rest of the night with my head pounding, like my veins were going to explode. A sip of alcohol would be enough to give me tightness in my chest, sometimes to the point that it would scare me. Candles burning, perfumes, and especially Spray and Wash would at times leave me with full blown sinus infections or “a bad cold”. As long as I avoided all of them, I was fine…except that I was finding as time went on, the episodes were becoming more frequent, and the intensity more severe.
