Fridge Basics
 
(The foods listed below can keep for months if stored properly.)    

-Potatoes                                     
-Yams / Sweet Potatoes               
-Garlic 
-Onions
-Ginger                                          

-Avocados (Leave at room temp to ripen, then eat within a day or two. To keep from ripening as quickly store in the fridge)                                  
-Lemons (Use in salad dressings, add to dips like guacamole or hummus, squeeze into chicken soup)

(Make salads with the foods listed below)                               
-Bell Peppers
-Cucumber
-Parsley
-Carrots
-Romaine Lettuce
-Tomatoes
-Spinach
-Broccoli or Cauliflower

Low Glycemic fruits (if tolerated)
-Pears
-Green Apples
-Grapefruit
-Berries

-Butter
-Eggs (organic if possible)

Freezer
Frozen Fruit (for smoothies)
Soup bones (for making broth)
