Sunflower Sesame Crackers

Ingredients
1 cup raw sunflower seeds
1 cup raw sesame seeds
1/4 cup of water
sea salt

Instructions

In a food processor, add the sunflower seeds and process on high for 2-3 minutes until the seeds have broken down into a more flour-like consistency, although it will be heavier and thicker than regular flour.

Add the sesame seeds and pulse a few times, then slowly add water, pulsing until a thick paste forms.

Between two pieces of parchment paper, roll out the paste as thinly as you can. Remove the upper piece of parchment.

Lightly score the batter into squares with a sharp knife. Sprinkle with sea salt, pepper and herbs if you like.

Bake at 350 degrees until golden and crisp, about 20 minutes. Allow to cool thoroughly before gently breaking into squares as scored.

Try these crackers with baba ghanoush, hummus, olive tapenade, white bean dip, guacamole or almond butter.
